The Provident Bank Foundation's Grant program for 2013 allows you to apply for grants over $3,500 with a maximum of $15,000 for 2013. All 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to apply as long as they meet all guidelines and have not received prior funding from The Provident Bank Foundation already in 2013. Organizations can apply quarterly corresponding with Foundation board meetings. Deadlines are as follows: January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. All organizations will be considered for all levels of giving and a determination will be made by the Foundation as to which level, if any, will be awarded. All requests require an application, which can be received by contacting the Foundation.
Examples of the types of grants for each Program Area are found below. This list is not all-inclusive. Please contact the Foundation if you have any questions about the program areas to which you intend to apply.
Community Enrichment: Museums, Festivals, Libraries, Hospitals (Capital/Structure), Parks/Playgrounds, Schools (Capital/Structure), Culture/Arts, Animal Shelters, Fire/Rescue/Police, Recreation Leagues.
Family Support and Youth Services: Affordable Housing, Job Readiness, Financial Literacy, Homeless Shelters, Food Pantries, Abuse Shelters, Independent Living, Soup Kitchens, Youth Programs/Camps, After-School Programs, Enrichment/Mentoring, Clubs/Street Alternatives.
Health and Human Services: Research, Prevention, Treatment Accessibility, Outreach, Screenings/Clinics, Mental Health, Hospice/Nursing Care, Eldercare.
Education: Scholarships, College Preparedness, Academic Pre K – 12, Curriculum, Class Trips, College/University expansion.
