Sandy Relief and Recovery Grants

The Provident Bank and The Provident Bank Foundation are committed to supporting Sandy relief and recovery efforts through a dedicated grant program to be in effect for the duration of the recovery period. The Foundation Board of Directors allocated an additional $250,000 of support dedicated to these efforts. A portion of the support will be earmarked for specific projects identified by key state officials as relevant to the recovery and the remaining support will be dedicated to general outreach.

Currently the foundation is accepting proposals aimed toward organizations that are focusing on getting small businesses up and running. These small businesses are the backbone of the shore areas of New Jersey and many organizations are dedicated to helping them rebuild in the way of small business loans, direct grants, education, and outreach. These grants can be up to $25,000.

For information on applying for the Small Business grants or for the general outreach grants pertaining to Sandy relief and recovery, please contact the foundation.
